Weekly retrospective #44: Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of ....?

Okay, today something completely different, no illustration, no real photography, something more virtual. Below you will find 3 images in low resolution of a fictitious spacestation, a job I did exclusively for Corbis Images.

You may have a look at all images here: http://www.corbisimages.com/Search#p=1&q=spacestation
I developed the base of the spacestation in the year 2000 and added more detail for the recent shots. It is in no way identical to the existing ISS. The backgrounds habe been done in Terragen, a software application design for virtual world, plus some real world textures.

Everything has been finetuned in Photoshop.

A very big thank you to Jan Urabs at Corbis Images for his help! Thanks Jan!

More images to come, then it will be a rocket. Stay tuned!
