Weekly retrospective #41: Meeting the Easter Bunny ...

... or some kind of. ;-)

Below you find some images we (my son Mark and myself) shot on Good Friday at the Monopteros in Munich. The idea came from Melody D'Amour, you saw images of her in older posts.

We have been lucky enough to get the only hour where the sun shines and we had no rain or snow. The drawback: we have had a heavy wind and it was freaking cold. All well performed by Melody. One thing I have to mention has been the fact that we ddidn't need any extra lights or reflectors as the columns of the Monoptereos have been bright enough to lighten up the scenery.

The columns are not perfectly white so so we didn't run into any highlight clipping. If you find some on the images, it's the artist choice to make the images in a vintage style look and no fail of the camera sensor. Kudos to my son Mark who is not onyl a gifted musician (guitar) and a painter, he handles the camera as well.

Shot with a Nikon D800 and a 85mm lens (myslef) and a Nikon D7000 with a 50mm lens (Mark).
