Weekly retrospective #45: The Schacky Park

Never heard about that park? Nothing to worry about, it is relatively unknown, even to the people who live here.

You may want to google the parks name, but here is a short description. The park area is in Diessen, a small town located at the south-western end of the lake Ammer (Ammersee for all German speaking readers). The park has been designed by the royal treasurer Ludwig baron from Schacky of Schoenfeld (hope I got this in the right way) in 1903. English parks have been the paradigm for the layout of his park.

Today the park is being renovated by the Schacky Park Support Group.
